Job Summary
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will serve as the financial strategist and steward for our new hospital. The CFO will establish the financial infrastructure, oversee all accounting and financial reporting functions, and drive strong financial performance to support our mission of delivering outstanding patient care to the community.
Job Description

- Analyze financial statements, interprets financial reports, and forecast

- Monitor financial activities and risk management

- Develops policies for purchasing supplies and equipment
- Negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers
- Develop the financial strategy, plans, budgets and forecasts for the hospital.
- Build and lead the finance and accounting team, including recruitment, training and development.
- Establish financial policies, procedures and internal controls to ensure fiscal integrity.
- Oversee all accounting operations, including accounts payable, payroll, revenue cycle and treasury.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and management reports.
- Manage relationships with external auditors, banks, investors and financial partners.
- Drive cost savings and revenue enhancement initiatives to optimize financial performance.
- Ensure compliance with all tax, audit and financial reporting requirements.
- Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to the executive team and board.
- Foster a culture of financial discipline, accountability and continuous improvement.
Job Requirements
- Effective communication skills with a good command of the English language, both written and oral.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field. Master’s degree and/or CPA strongly preferred.
- 15+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, including 5+ years as a CFO or equivalent.
- Deep knowledge of healthcare finance, reimbursement models, revenue cycle and accounting.
- Proven track record of driving financial strategy and optimizing fiscal performance.
- Strong business acumen and analytical skills. Able to deliver data-driven insights.
- Excellent leadership and team-building skills. Able to develop a high-performing finance team.
- Impeccable ethics and integrity, with a strong internal control and fiscal compliance mindset.
- Exceptional communicator, able to build trust and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to adapt to change and implement change initiatives.
- Must be eloquent and exude confidence.

Minimum 15 years of experience in a senior leadership role within a large hospital or health system
